Snow!

Ah, the snow. It's finally here. I glanced out my window to see snow falling. I'm from Florida so I've only had about 2 white Christmases, so I still act like a little kid when snow falls. Bouncing from one window to the other so happy and suprised that snow is here and it's almost time to go outside and play around in it. It only snowed a small blanket here, so It's not like I can go outside and dive into it. But all the time, I love seeing it all over the place. On the downside, I hate ice, and I have a huge fear of slipping and falling on my bum. So, I cling on to my boyfriend for dear life and nope I dont slip and fall on the slick blacktop. So far, I'm disliking the extreme chill, but just the look of snow makes me very happy. I did have to shovel snow from time to time a year ago, which was quite the downer, but I did get payed for it, so that's a plus.

Shapeshifters

I've been listening to the Shapeshifters for a long time. I used to live in the UK for some time and I picked up on a few pop-ey songs this one included. I love something I can dance to sometimes and this is an awesome song. I hope you give it a listen.




I've been listening to this song nonstop since I downloaded it. One of the best remixes I have heard in a very very long time. I'm all about house / techno music and this is a very beautiful song.

Patch!

The patch before Cata is out and I am excited! I actually reactivated my account just for this occasion and at first I didnt quite care for it. I was still a bit bored with the game. Our guild is done raiding until Cata so I'm pretty much out of things to do. So now I'm going out collecting pets and quests...odd things like that. It's very fun. Org is completely redone. I was a bit lost at first, but It's pretty easy to navigate once you look at the map a bazillion times. The old world is completely revamped and is looking amazing. But what I really wanted to stress on was TROLL DRUIDS TROLL DRUIDS TROLL DRUIDS!! I love trolls, they're my most favorite race in the game and I always wanted to make a druid. Whats a better time than now? I'm liking this patch a whole lot.

Christmas is right around the corner. Sooner than I expected to be honest. I cant believe how fast time has gone. And my birthday is right around the corner after that. I hate having a birthday so close to Christmas. People like to mush my birthday and Christmas into one gift. Which is lame. I dont know about you, but holidays are always a bit depressing to me. My family's always been a bit broken appart so we dont exactly have 'family dinners' and 'family time'. I wish I did, others have told me that I'm lucky. But it saddens me some. Be thankful for the wonderful famlies you are all blessed to have. And love the ones who are a long ways away. Happy Holidays!

Sugary Starcraft

I've been playing a bit of SC2 as of late. Only the storyline though, on casual. Yeah, asside from WC3, this is one of my first RTS's. I think as I get better I'll boost it up to regular or something. Deffinetly not something Id want to sit around getting mad over because the game's too hard. So far, it's interesting. I played a bit of the first SC, but I grew a little bored of it. Maybe I shouldnt be playing the storyline of SC2 if I didnt finished the first SC... Ah well. I'm pretty bored, and it's something to pass the time with. I get very panic-y when I play, the boyfriend thinks it's cute. I get like that in any game that I'm new to. Lovin it so far, I'm going to be playing more though.





I've also just discovered how cheap and awesome kool-aid is. It's like..40 cents for a little packet. It's tasty, keeps me 'hydrated' and it keeps me away from chugging down sodas, one can after the other. I put little quotation marks over 'hydrated' because well...Kool-aid isnt exactly the best thing in the world for you. It calls for 1 cup of sugar. 1 cup of sugar? You know how much that is? Jeez. Anyways, if you have a tigh budget and want something cheap to drink, drinking Kool-Aid would be a good idea. I mean...you should probably brush your teeth afterwards and maybe go for a jog, but...uh. Yeah.

Folding Podcasts

I looked over and read comments from everyone who responded to the Christmas questions and I'm pleased to see some actual answers. Thank you for those who did. I'm thinking we should just roll right into a few things. I have officially stopped playing WoW until Cata release, my account is frozen and I have no intentions on playing until then. I let my guild know what was going on and there are quite a few others who are also taking a breather until then. Sometimes it's good to just take a break from a game you play almost everyday. It's seriously a life sucker.

Other than that, I have been doing a lot of Origami. I love doing that it's kind of a side hobby.

I made this a long time ago and it was mildly a challenge. I normally just look on Youtube videos and follow along, it makes things so much easier. It can really get  frustrated if things dont go my way though, I'm really into learning how to do new shapes and such. Pretty neat hobby of mine.





I've also been listening to a lot of Podcasts. For those of you who dont know, it's a completely free addition to iTunes. I'm probably late to the party with it though, but it's taken a while to get onboard with Podcasts. I'm finally there and I'm loving it. If you're just washing some dishes and have loud speakers, crank it up and listen while you're doing the odd job around the house. It's almost like a library of things to listen to. From radio to World of Warcraft Podcasts. You wont be dissapointed.

Back Attack!!!

I havent been making updates or even being on Blogger all that much for the past few days. Sorry about that. I've been feeling a bit under the weather. I'm back and I think I'll do a few reviews on a few music artists and talk briefly on WoW.



All things considered this guy has done, his music isnt all that bad. If you like pop-y old school techno-ness and R&B, I think you'd like this album. He's a good singer and the album kept my foot tapping. My personal favorites are IYA, Chase Our Love, Graffiti, and So Cold. You should check em out if you're bored.









 Next up is Nujabes. I've been listening to him for years now and I love love love him. If you're into soul / jazz / hip-hop, then you'd love this. Very smooth and sets you in a good mindset for the rest of the day, I promise. 











     Talking about WoW again. There was a small patch going on, but it was not THE patch. Just a few things to fix a few bugs, nothing to call home about. I stopped playing WoW until Cata, there isnt going to be just going on until then anyways. What a snore.

Christmas is coming up soon and I was wondering what everyone was going to get for their friends and family? 






   

What am I going to be doing for Cata?

To be quite honest, I'm not really all that hyped up for Cata at all. If anything, I'm just doing it for something to do, not really something I'm giddy over. All in all, I'm going to level to 85 and then gear up for my guild and work our way into content asap. That's pretty much it. Explore alot of stuff and then branch out to other things such as achievements and boringness like that.






In other news, I've been listening to a lot of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Very good and Christmas-ey. I recommend them to anyone who loves Christmas music.

Goodbye Happiness

This blog is turning into more or less music / video games, since both of those are my hobbies and passions. My first sincere blog post so far is this one. This video is some piano cover from my most favorite J-Pop singer Utada Hikaru aka Hikki. Her voice is so beautiful and lovely. Does not make the Japanese language sound extra fast and hard to understand. She's fluent in English and Japanese so some of her songs have some English in it. I love that.
